Our Organization

A Tradition of Hockey and Community

Founded in 1967, Peabody Youth Hockey (PYH) is a nonprofit amateur youth hockey organization based in Peabody, Massachusetts. Known as the Tanners, our association brings young athletes, families, coaches, and volunteers together through hockey.

PYH provides programs for players with a wide range of experience, from children learning to skate for the first time to older players competing in organized league hockey. Our emphasis is on development, opportunity, and a positive experience for every player.

Dedicated volunteers operate our organization and make our programs possible. Their time, leadership, and commitment help strengthen both PYH and the broader Peabody community.

What Guides Us

Our Mission

Peabody Youth Hockey is committed to providing a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where children can learn the fundamentals of hockey, develop their abilities, and grow as teammates and individuals.

Guided by USA Hockey's core values, we seek to promote sportsmanship, respect, integrity, the pursuit of excellence, enjoyment, loyalty, and teamwork.

We strive to expand access to the game, introduce new players to the sport, and provide opportunities for continued development throughout their hockey journey.

We are grateful for the commitment that makes each season possible.

Community Support

Families, Sponsors & Supporters

Fundraising, community sponsorships, and volunteer efforts help PYH manage the costs of operating a youth hockey association while providing opportunities for local children.

We appreciate the businesses and individuals whose continued support strengthens the program.
